
Industrial SalesLeads' experienced industrial market research team tracked 392 new planned industrial projects across North America in September, a 2% decrease from the previous month. Distribution and industrial warehouse projects led all categories with 188 new projects, followed by manufacturing facilities at 156. Renovations and equipment upgrades were the most common type of work, with 187 projects. Texas led all states with 29 projects, followed closely by New York with 27 and California with 24. The research team also identified 41 projects valued at $100 million or more. The largest is a proposed $10 billion solar cell manufacturing facility from Tesla Inc., which is currently looking for a site.

Metal producer is planning to invest $7.4 billion for the construction of a 6.9 million sf processing, warehouse, and office complex at 1800 Zinc Plant Rd. in CLARKSVILLE, TN. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Completion is slated for 2029.
LOUISIANA:
Energy company is planning to invest $1.6 billion for the expansion and equipment upgrades on their processing and underground storage facilities in CAMERON PARISH, LA. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Construction is expected to start in late 2026, with completion slated for late 2028.
VIRGINIA:
Electric utility service provider is planning to invest $1.47 billion for the construction of a 3,000 MW natural gas-fired power plant on Duncan Store Rd. in CUMBERLAND, VA. GEORGIA:
