     Largest Planned Project

    During the month of May, our research team identified 3 new Food and Beverage facility construction projects with an estimated value of $100 million of more. 

    The largest project is owned by Tyson Foods, who is planning to construct a new, 400,000 square foot plant in Salt Lake City, UT. The project is currently in the early planning stages. 

     

    Top 10 Tracked Food and Beverage Projects

    CONNECTICUT: 

    Produce distributor is planning for the construction of a 202,000 sf office, warehouse, and processing facility in EAST WINDSOR, CT. They are currently seeking approval for the project. They plan to relocate operations upon completion.

    INDIANA: 

    Seed company is planning to invest $62 million for the construction of an office, warehouse, and processing facility in ATLANTA, IN. They have recently received approval for the project. Completion is slated for 2022.

    KANSAS: 

    Snack food mfr. has recently agreed to pre-lease a 765,000 sf distribution facility on Waverly Road in EDGERTON, KS. They will relocate operations from their location in CHICAGO, IL upon completion in early 2020.

    MICHIGAN:

    Poultry processor is planning to invest $13 million for equipment upgrades of their processing facility in WYOMING, MI. They have recently received approval for the project.

    MISSOURI: 

    Beverage company is planning for the construction of a 426,000 sf processing and distribution facility at CenterPoint Intermodal Center in KANSAS CITY, MO. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

     NORTH CAROLINA: 

    Brewery is planning to invest $3 million for the renovation and equipment upgrades on a 6,000 sf production facility at 954 N. Davidson St. in CHARLOTTE, NC. They plan to be operational in Spring 2020.

    OHIO:

    Dairy and food products mfr. is planning to invest $11 million for the renovation and equipment upgrades on a 45,000 sf office and processing facility in CINCINNATI, OH. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    VIRGINIA: 

    Frozen food mfr. is planning to invest $46 million for the expansion of a recently acquired processing facility in DANVILLE, VA. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    TEXAS:

    Specialty coffee company is planning for the renovation and equipment upgrades on a recently leased 16,000 sf warehouse in PLANO, TX. They plan to be operational in late 2019.

    WASHINGTON: 

    Distillery is planning to invest $5 million for the construction of a 25,000 sf warehouse and office facility in QUINCY, WA. They are currently seeking approval for the project.
