Q: What is OppAlerts?
A: OppAlerts is a fast way to identify specific industrial business opportunities inside the SalesLeads Platform. Instead of reviewing every Project Report the same way, you can zero in on projects that align with your product or service offering.
Q: Can you give me an example?
A: Sure. Let’s say you’re in the conveyor business. You only want to focus on Project Reports where the company is actively researching or planning to purchase conveyors. OppAlerts lets you drill down quickly in two ways:
1) Filter projects using OppAlerts (fastest)
Use the OppAlerts dropdown, select your area of interest, then click Display Projects. You’ll immediately narrow results to the most relevant opportunities.
2) Review opportunity signals inside each Project Report (most detailed)
At the bottom of each Project Report, you’ll see a list of the business opportunities the prospect is researching or will be searching for. This provides valuable insight into what the company is likely to buy and how to tailor your outreach.
Q: If I call the contact names provided on the Project Report, will they be able to help me?
A: Yes. For each Project Report, we provide multiple project contacts, either at the local plant level or HQ level. You can use the contact’s direct phone number or direct email address to begin the sales process and route conversations to the right stakeholder faster.
Q: Is the Project Description at the top of the Project Report going away?
A: No. Clients still rely on the Project Description to quickly understand the company, what they want to accomplish, and the timing across multiple initiatives. It provides helpful context for outreach and account planning.
