    Largest Planned Industrial Construction Project

    During the month of May, our research team identified 12 new General Industrial facility construction projects with an estimated value of $100 million or more.

    The largest project is owned by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Ltd., who is planning to invest $12 billion for the construction of a manufacturing facility and currently seeking a site in PHOENIX, AZ. Construction is expected to start in 2021.

    ALBERTA:

    Mining technology company is planning to invest $400 million for the construction of a processing facility in WOOD BUFFALO, AB. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Completion is slated for 2022.

     

    CONNECTICUT:

    Global online retailer is planning to invest $200 million for the renovation and equipment upgrades on an 823,000 sf distribution center at 1201 Kennedy Road in WINDSOR, CT. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

     

    IOWA:

    Food processing company is planning to invest $230 million for the construction of a chemical processing facility at their complex in EDDYVILLE, IA. The project also includes equipment upgrades on their existing facilities at the same location. They have recently received approval for the project.

     

    ILLINOIS:

    Biofuel mfr. is planning to invest $400 million for the construction of a renewable diesel plant on a 40-acre site in NEWTON, IL. They have recently received approval for the project.

     

    LOUSIANNA:
