    Largest Planned Project

    During the month of March, our research team identified 4 new Food and Beverage facility construction projects with an estimated value of $100 million or more.

    The largest project is owned by PepsiCo Beverages, who is planning to invest $260 million for a 260,000 sf expansion and equipment upgrade at their processing facility in STONE MOUNTAIN, GA. They have recently received approval for the project.

    Top 10 Tracked Food and Beverage Projects

    ARKANSAS:

    Bakery products mfr. is planning to invest $140 million for the renovation and equipment upgrades on a 330,000 sf processing facility in ARKADELPHIA, AR. Completion is slated for Summer 2023.

    OHIO:

    Diversified food products mfr. is planning to invest $60 million for a 15,000 sf expansion and equipment upgrades of their processing facility in TROY, OH. Construction is expected to start in late Summer 2022, with completion slated for Spring 2023.

    VIRGINIA:

    Agricultural company is planning to invest $59 million for the renovation and equipment upgrades on their processing facility in CHESAPEAKE, VA. They have recently received approval for the project.

    CALIFORNIA:

    Meat processing company is planning for the construction of a 477,000 sf processing and distribution facility on West Church Ave. in FRESNO, CA. They are currently seeking approval for the project. They will consolidate operations upon completion.

    NEW YORK:

    Cheese mfr. is planning to invest $15 million for the expansion and equipment upgrades of their processing facility in BUFFALO, NY. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    NORTH CAROLINA:

    Fruit processing company is planning to invest $12 million for the construction of a 100,000 sf processing facility on Chadbourn Hwy. in WHITEVILLE, NC. They are currently seeking approval for the project. 

    WISCONSIN:

    Pet food mfr. is planning for the renovation and equipment upgrades on a recently leased 178,000 sf processing facility at 400 W. Venture Dr. in JANESVILLE, WI. Completion is slated for Summer 2022.

    PENNSYLVANIA:

    Poultry farm is planning for the construction of a 44,000 sf storage and processing facility on Business Campus Way in PENN TOWNSHIP, PA. They have recently received approval for the project.

    WISCONSIN:

    Agricultural co-operative is planning for the construction of a 36,000 sf warehouse at W9710 Co. Rd. D in BEAVER DAM, WI. They are currently seeking approval for the project. 

    ARKANSAS:

    Startup meat processing equipment mfr. is planning for a 25,000 sf expansion and equipment upgrades of a recently acquired manufacturing facility in RUSSELLVILLE, AR. They have recently received approval for the project. Completion is slated for 2023.
