Research confirms 69 new projects in December 2022 with a decrease of 13% from November 2022 in the Food and Beverage sector.

    During the month of December, our research team identified 9 new Food and Beverage facility construction projects with an estimated value of $100 million or more.

    The largest project is owned by Plant Agricultural Systems LLC, who is planning to invest $1 billion for the construction of multiple processing facilities in NORTHEAST FLORIDA.

    INDIANA:

    Oilseed processing company is planning to invest $550 million for the construction of a processing facility in MORRISTOWN, IN. Construction is expected to start in early 2023, with completion slated for Summer 2025.

    KENTUCKY:

    Distillery is planning to invest $250 million for the construction of a 75,000 sf production facility at 960 St. Rose Rd. in LEBANON, KY. The project includes the construction of an office and warehouse facilities at the site. They have recently received approval for the project. Completion is slated for 2025.

    IOWA:

    Pet food mfr. is planning to invest $110 million for a 90,000 sf expansion of their processing facility in CLINTON, IA. They have recently received approval for the project.

    PENNSYLVANIA:

    Indoor farming company is planning to invest $105 million for the renovation and equipment upgrades on a recently leased 316,000 sf processing facility at 405 Stony Creek Rd. in HAZLE TOWNSHIP, PA. They have recently received approval for the project.

    OHIO:

    Pet food mfr. is planning for the construction of a processing facility in WILLIAMSBURG, OH. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Completion is slated for 2025.

    KANSAS:

    Beverage company is planning for the construction of a 1-million sf processing and distribution facility in OLATHE, KS. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Completion is slated for late 2024. 

    SOUTH CAROLINA:

    Restaurant chain is planning to invest $80 million for the construction of a distribution center in WEST COLUMBIA, SC. They have recently received approval for the project. Completion is slated for 2024.

    INDIANA:

    Distillery is planning to invest $78 million for the expansion, renovations, and equipment upgrades on their production facility in NEW ALBANY, IN. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    NORTH CAROLINA:

    Fruit juice mfr. is planning to invest $55 million for the expansion of their processing facility in HENDERSONVILLE, NC. They are currently seeking approval for the project. 

    CALIFORNIA:

    Food products supplier is planning for the expansion of their warehouse facility in WALNUT, CA by 107,500 sf. They are currently seeking approval for the project.
