The Firm tracks North American planned industrial capital project activity; including facility expansions, new plant construction and significant equipment modernization projects. Research confirms 74 new projects in the Food and Beverage sector, an increase of 10% from the previous month.

    During the month of April, our research team identified 4 new Food and Beverage facility construction projects with an estimated value of $100 million or more.

    The largest project is owned by Swire Coca-Cola, USA, who is planning to invest $500 million for the construction of a processing facility in DENVER, CO. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Construction is expected to start in 2025. They will consolidate regional operations upon completion in 2028.

    TENNESSEE:

    Oilseed processing company is planning to invest $220 million for the expansion, renovations, and equipment upgrades on their processing facility in MEMPHIS, TN. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    OHIO:

    Prepared meal processing company is considering investing $82 million for the construction of a 140,000 sf processing facility and currently seeking a site in OHIO.

    TEXAS:

    Beverage company is planning to invest $80 million for the construction of a processing facility in SEGUIN, TX. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Construction is expected to start in late 2023, with completion slated for 2024.

    ALBERTA:

    Chocolate producer is planning to invest $30 million for the construction of a 120,000 sf processing facility in STONY PLAIN, AB. They have recently received approval for the project. They will relocate their operations upon completion in 2025.

    IDAHO:

    Animal feed mfr. is investing $20 million for the expansion of their processing facility in JEROME, ID. They have recently received approval for the project. Completion is slated for Spring 2024.

    NORTH CAROLINA:

    Specialty food processor is planning to invest $17 million for the renovation and equipment upgrades on their processing facility in ELIZABETHTOWN, NC. They have recently received approval for the project.

     CALIFORNIA:

    Dairy company is planning to invest $10 million for the expansion of their manufacturing facility in TURLOCK, CA by 147,000 sf. Construction is expected to start in Summer 2023.

    NEVADA:

    Specialty food ingredient mfr. is planning for the expansion of their processing facility in SPARKS, NV by 106,000 sf. They have recently received approval for the project.

    OHIO:

    Beverage distributor is planning for a 51,000 sf expansion of their warehouse facility in DAYTON, OH. They are currently seeking approval for the project. They will consolidate operations upon completion.

     SOUTH DAKOTA:

    Dairy cooperative is planning for the construction of a 48,000 sf processing facility in BERESFORD, SD. They are currently seeking approval for the project.
