Distribution and Supply Chain Investment Hits 2026 Peak in August, Fueled by Three Months of Accelerating Growth

Industrial SalesLeads announced today the August 2026 results for its planned capital project spending report for the Distribution and Supply Chain industry. The Firm's research team confirmed 199 new planned projects during the month of August, matching April's figure as the highest month of 2026 and capping a three-month climb from June's low of 185 through July's 193.

After a mid-year dip, the sector has established itself with activity driven by industrial warehouse projects at 179 new projects and investment concentrated in Texas, North Carolina, and Florida. During the month of August, our research team identified 8 new Distribution and Supply Chain facility construction projects with an estimated value of $100 million or more. 

The largest project is owned by SpaceX, who is planning to invest $100 billion for the construction of a processing, warehouse, and storage complex in VERMILION PARISH, LA. Kentucky:

Food products mfr. is planning for the construction of a 552,000 sf distribution center at 6630 Lewis Ln. in LOUISVILLE, KY. They are currently seeking approval for the project.
