    Largest Planned Project

    During the month of August, our research team identified 1 new Food and Beverage facility construction project with an estimated value of $100 million or more.

    The largest project is owned by Cenex Harvest States, who is planning to invest $100 million for an expansion, renovation, and equipment upgrades on their processing facility in Fairmont, MN. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Completion is slated for late 2021.

    LOUISIANA:

    Poultry processing company is planning to invest $47 million for the construction of a new feed mill and the renovation of their existing processing facilities in BATON ROUGE, LA. They have recently received approval for the project.

    MICHIGAN:

    Bakery company is planning to invest $85 million for an expansion and equipment upgrades of their processing facility at 5565 Broadmoor Ave. SE in KENTWOOD, MI. They have recently received approval for the project.

    MINNESOTA:

    Pet food mfr. is planning to invest $60 million for the construction of a 170,000 sf processing facility in DELANO, MN. They have recently received approval for the project. Completion is slated for November 2020. 

    TEXAS:

    Grocery retail chain is planning to invest $55 million for the construction of a 350,000 sf distribution and cold storage facility on Bonnie View Road in DALLAS, TX. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    WISCONSIN:

    Meat processing company is planning to invest $58 million for the construction of a 175,000 sf processing facility in FRANKLIN, WI. Construction is expected to start in November 2019. They plan to relocate operations upon completion in early 2021.

    DELAWARE:

    Sugar trading company is planning to invest $25 million for the construction of a 125,000 sf warehouse at 343 Pigeon Pt. Rd. in NEW CASTLE, DE. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    ILLINOIS:

    Restaurant equipment and products wholesaler is planning to invest $15 million for the construction of a 55,000 sf warehouse and distribution facility at Tri-State Parkway in GURNEE, IL. They have recently received approval for the project.

    INDIANA:

    Beverage company is planning to pre-lease a 200,000 sf office and distribution center at 700 S. Post Rd. in INDIANAPOLIS, IN. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    KANSAS:

    Snack food company is planning for the renovation and equipment upgrades of a recently acquired 50,000 sf office and laboratory facility at 7905 Quivira Road in LENEXA, KS. They will relocate operations in early 2020.

    CALIFORNIA:

    Winery is planning to invest $25 million for an expansion of their warehouse and production facility in CERES, CA. They are currently seeking approval for the project.
