    During the month of December, our research team identified 2 new Distribution and Supply Chain facility construction projects with an estimated value of $100 million or more. 

    The largest project is owned by Walmart, who is planning to invest $200 million for the construction of a 1.8 million sf distribution facility in TOPEKA, KS. They have recently received approval for the project.

    WISCONSIN:

    Shipping and packaging materials supplier is planning to invest $130 million for the construction of a 1 million sf distribution center at Interstate 94 in KENOSHA, WI. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

     

    ARKANSAS:

    Auto parts supplier is planning for the construction of a 300,000 sf warehouse and distribution facility on Raymar Road in BRYANT, AR. They have recently received approval for the project.

     

    ARIZONA:

    Food service company is planning to invest $46 million for the expansion of their distribution center in BULLHEAD CITY, AZ by 70,000 sf. They have recently received approval for the project.

     

    COLORADO:

    HVAC and plumbing equipment supplier is planning for the construction of a 450,000 sf distribution center in AURORA, CO. They have recently received approval for the project. Completion is slated for Spring 2021.

     

    CONNECTICUT:

    Supermarket chain is planning for the renovation and equipment upgrades on recently leased 975,000 sf of distribution space at 1339 Tolland Turnpike in MANCHESTER, CT. They expect to occupy the space in Fall 2020.

     

    ILLINOIS:

    Logistics service provider is planning for the renovation and equipment upgrades on an additional 125,000 sf of recently leased distribution space at 21530 SW Frontage Rd. in SHOREWOOD, IL. They plan to occupy the space upon completion in early Summer 2020.

     

    MISSOURI:

    Dairy products mfr. is expanding and planning for the construction of a 420,000 sf distribution facility in CARTHAGE, MO. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

     

    PENNSYLVANIA:

    Online pet supplies retailer is planning to invest $35 million for the construction of a 1 million sf distribution facility in ARCHBALD, PA. They have recently received approval for the project.

     

    TEXAS:

    Discount retailer is planning to invest $40 million for the construction of an 860,000 sf distribution center in CONROE, TX. They have recently received approval for the project. Completion is slated for late 2020. They are also considering a future 250,000 sf expansion.

     

    ONTARIO:

    General contractor is planning for the construction of a 700,000 sf warehouse at 1966 Roger Stevens Drive in NORTH GOWER, ON. They are currently seeking approval for the project.
