Largest Planned Project

In January, our research team identified three food and beverage projects valued at $100 million or more. The largest is led by Nature’s Bakery, which will invest $237 million in a 339,000-square-foot processing facility in Salt Lake City, UT. The project has received approval and is scheduled for completion in summer 2025.

Nebraska
A meat processor will invest $43 million to expand its Hastings, NE processing facility by 11,000 square feet. Approvals are pending.

Arkansas
A bakery company received approval for a $37 million expansion and equipment upgrades at its processing facility on E. 3rd Street in Hope, AR.

Wisconsin
A candy manufacturer will renovate and upgrade a 447,000-square-foot distribution center in Bristol, WI, relocating part of its regional distribution operations by summer 2024.

Illinois
A distillery is seeking approval for renovations and upgrades at a 157,000-square-foot production and warehouse facility in Peoria, IL.

Georgia
An herbal supplement manufacturer is planning renovations and upgrades to 85,000 square feet of warehouse space in Buford, GA. Approvals are pending.

Michigan
A pickle products manufacturer plans to invest $10 million to expand its processing and warehouse facility in Lexington, MI. Approvals are pending.

North Carolina
A distillery is planning a $10 million, 28,000-square-foot production facility in Statesville, NC. Approvals are pending.

Florida
A snack food manufacturer is planning a 104,000-square-foot distribution center in Fort Myers, FL. Approvals are pending.
