    Industrial SalesLeads announced today the April 2024 results for the new planned capital project spending report for the Distribution and Supply Chain industry. The Firm tracks North American planned industrial capital project activity; including facility expansions, new plant construction and significant equipment modernization projects. Research confirms 172 new projects as compared to 202 in March 2024.

    Largest Planned Project

    During the month of April, our research team identified 7 new Distribution and Supply Chain facility construction projects with an estimated value of $100 million or more. 

    The largest project is owned by Brightmark, who is planning to invest $950 million for the construction of a 2.5 million sf processing and warehouse facility in THOMASTON, GA. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Construction is expected to start in 2025, with completion slated for 2027.

    Iowa:

    Dairy products mfr. is planning to invest $708 million for the construction of a 750,000 sf processing and warehouse facility in BOONE, IA. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    New York:

    Global online retailer is planning to invest $550 million for the construction of a 3.1 million sf distribution campus in NIAGARA, NY. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    Tennessee:

    Industrial ventilation equipment mfr. is planning to invest $300 million for the construction of a manufacturing, warehouse, and office campus in KNOXVILLE, TN. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Construction will occur in phases, with completion of the first phase slated for Summer 2026.

    Texas:

    Beverage company is planning to invest $168 million for the expansion and equipment upgrades on their processing and warehouse facility at 3400 Fossil Creek Blvd. in FORT WORTH, TX. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    South Carolina:

    Municipality is planning to invest $88 million for the construction of a 160,000 sf office, warehouse, training, and maintenance facility at 1910 Herbert St. in CHARLESTON, SC. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    Kentucky:

    Metal storage service provider is planning to invest $63 million for the construction of a distribution center in BOWLING GREEN, KY. They have recently received approval for the project. Completion is slated for Summer 2025.

    Florida:

    Logistics service provider is planning to invest $60 million for the construction of a 160,000 sf distribution center in JACKSONVILLE, FL. They have recently received approval for the project.

    British Columbia:

    Federal agency is planning to invest $53 million for the construction of a 58,000 sf warehouse, office, and maintenance facility at CFB Comox in LAZO, BC. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    Wisconsin:

    Building materials mfr. is planning to invest $40 million for the construction of a 500,000 sf warehouse and manufacturing facility at 2000 Commerce Dr. in DE PERE, WI. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Construction is expected to start in early Fall 2024, with completion slated for early 2026.

    North Carolina:

    Construction company is planning to invest $40 million for the construction of a 200,000 sf manufacturing and warehouse facility in SILER CITY, NC. They are currently seeking approval for the project.
