Industrial SalesLeads today announced the September 2025 results for the new planned capital project spending report for the Distribution and Supply Chain industry. The firm, which tracks North American planned industrial capital project activity including facility expansions, new plant construction, and significant equipment modernization projects, confirmed 201 new projects in the Distribution and Supply Chain sector for the month. This number reflects a steady increase in new capital project activity since May 2025, when 183 projects were tracked. The total number of new projects from May to September represents a 9.84% increase for the Distribution and Supply Chain industry.

Cold storage warehousing service provider is planning to invest $162 million for the construction of a 606,000 sf cold-storage warehouse and office facility at 3550 Lancaster Hutchins Rd. in HUTCHINS, TX. Completion is slated for Summer 2027.

Connecticut:

Global retail chain is planning for the construction of a 1 million sf distribution and office facility in WINDHAM COUNTY, CT. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

Ohio:
Industrial supply company has recently agreed to pre-lease a 716,000 sf manufacturing, warehouse, and office campus in FOREST PARK, OH. Construction is expected to start in Spring 2026 and they will consolidate their operations upon completion in Summer 2027.

Georgia:

Power-sport vehicle mfr. is planning to invest $90 million for the construction of a 785,000 sf distribution center in NEWNAN, GA. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Construction is expected to start in 2026, with completion slated for early 2028.

North Carolina:

Computer hardware and software mfr. is planning to invest $77 million for the expansion of their manufacturing and warehouse facility in WHITSETT, NC. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

Indiana:

Plastic container mfr. is planning to invest $77 million for the renovation and equipment upgrades on a 400,000 sf manufacturing and warehouse facility in WHITESTOWN, IN. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

New York:

Beverage company is planning to invest $48 million for the construction of a 126,000 sf distribution center at 15 Liebich Ln. in HALFMOON, NY. They are currently seeking approval for the project. They will relocate their ALBANY, NY operations upon completion.

Virginia:

Electrical equipment mfr. is planning to invest $30 million for the expansion and equipment upgrades on their manufacturing and warehouse facility in RICHMOND, VA. Completion is slated for late 2025.
