A new MiR report reveals that planned industrial construction projects remained steady throughout the summer, with 400 new projects tracked in August 2025. While this activity shows a slight decrease of 2% from the previous month, research by Industrial SalesLeads' experienced industrial market research team indicates consistent planning within the industrial sector.

 Largest Planned Industrial Construction Project

During the month of August, our research team identified 27 new General Industrial facility construction projects with an estimated value of $100 million or more. 

The largest project is owned by Vermaland, who is planning to invest $33 billion for the construction of a data center complex in ELOY, AZ. The project includes the construction of a solar farm and a gas-fired power plant at the site. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

Automotive mfr. is planning to invest $13 billion for the expansion of their manufacturing facility at 700 Hyundai Blvd. in MONTGOMERY, AL. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Completion is slated for 2028

GEORGIA:

Automotive mfr. is planning to invest $13 billion for the expansion, renovation, and equipment upgrades on their manufacturing facility in ELLABELL, GA. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

KENTUCKY:

Global computer and technology product mfr. is planning to invest $3 billion for the expansion, renovations, and equipment upgrades on a manufacturing facility in HARRODSBURG, KY. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

INDIANA:

Steel company is planning to invest $3 billion for the renovation and equipment upgrades on their manufacturing facility in GARY, IN. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

KENTUCKY:

Startup nuclear energy company is planning to invest $1.5 billion for the construction of a processing facility in PADUCAH, KY. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

NEW MEXICO:
