Research shows that Illinois state had the highest increase of projects tracked, with 47% more projects identified than in 2024. Conversely, Wisconsin state showed the largest decline of projects tracked, with a 13% decline compared to 2024. 

Most Active Month 

Research shows that the most active month was December, where 81 new projects opportunities were identified.

Largest Month to Month Increase in Projects Tracked 

Research shows that there was a 30% increase in new projects tracked from May 2025 to June 2025. Conversely, Jan-Feb showed the largest month to month decline; with 62 new projects in January and 48 in February.

FEBRUARY

Bakery company is planning to invest $160 million for the construction of a 267,000 sf processing facility in BURLESON, TX.

MARCH: 

Animal feed mfr. is planning to invest $750 million for the construction of a processing facility at 625 E. U.S. Hwy. 36 in TUSCOLA, IL. Completion is slated for 2028.

APRIL:

Dairy product mfr. is planning to invest $1 billion for the construction of a 1.4 million sf processing facility in ROME, NY.

MAY:

Meat processing company is investing $95 million for a 111,000 sf expansion and equipment upgrades on their processing and warehouse facility in ST. JOSEPH, MO by 111,000 sf. Completion is slated for Summer 2026.

JUNE:

Dairy company is investing $186 million for the construction of a 240,000 sf processing facility in SEWARD, NE. Completion is slated for 2027.

JULY:

Beverage company is investing $422 million for the construction of a 1.45 million sf processing facility in WINTER HAVEN, FL.

AUGUST: 

Beverage company is planning to invest $740 million for the construction of a 2 million sf processing, distribution, and office facility at 2321 Concord Pkwy S in CONCORD, NC.

 SEPTEMBER:

Seafood producer is investing $350 million for the expansion of their processing facility in MIAMI, FL. Construction is occurring in multiple phases.

OCTOBER:

Distillery is planning to invest $1 billion for the construction of a production facility in CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY.

NOVEMBER:

Grocery retailer is planning to invest $860 million for the construction of a 1 million sf distribution center in BURLINGTON, NC. Construction is expected to start in early 2026, with completion slated for 2029.

DECEMBER:

Beverage distributor is planning to invest $475 million for the construction of a 620,000 sf processing facility in COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. Completion is slated for 2028.
