    SalesLeads announced today the September 2020 results for the new planned capital project spending report for the Food and Beverage industry. The Firm tracks North American planned industrial capital project activity; including facility expansions, new plant construction and significant equipment modernization projects. Research confirms 68 new projects in the Food and Beverage sector.

    Largest Planned Project

    During the month of September, our research team identified 2 new Food and Beverage facility construction projects with an estimated value of $100 million of more.

    The largest project is owned by LiDestri Food & Drink, who is planning to invest $314 million for the construction of a greenhouse, processing, and distribution complex in EARLY BRANCH, SC. They have recently received approval for the project. Construction will occur in phases, with completion of the first phase slated for 2022.

    MICHIGAN:

    Baby food products mfr. is planning to invest $36 million for an expansion of their processing facility in FREMONT, MI. They have recently received approval for the project.

     

    TEXAS:

    Specialty meal delivery service provider is planning for the renovation and equipment upgrades on a recently leased 375,000 sf distribution center at 2700 Market St. in IRVING, TX. They plan to occupy the space in Spring 2021.

     

    WISCONSIN:

    Brewery is planning to invest $68 million for the expansion of their production facility in WAUNAKEE, WI by 100,000 sf. The project also includes the construction of a 200,000 sf warehouse on Uniek Dr. in WAUNAKEE, WI. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

     

    ARIZONA:

    Specialty food ingredients mfr. is planning to invest $12 million for the renovation and equipment upgrades on a recently acquired 141,000 sf processing and office facility at 2130 S. Industrial Park Ave. in TEMPE, AZ.

     

    KENTUCKY:

    Startup distillery is planning to invest $13 million for the construction of a production facility in BARDSTOWN, KY. They have recently received approval for the project. Construction is expected to start in Spring 2021.

     

    NEW HAMPSHIRE:
