The largest is led by Micron Technology Inc., which plans to invest 100 billion dollars to build a 7.2 million square foot manufacturing complex in Clay, New York. Construction will occur in phases with completion slated for 2030.

Louisiana
Methanol producer investing 3 billion dollars in a new processing facility at the Port of Lake Charles. Construction begins Summer 2024 with completion in 2027.
North Dakota
Mining company investing 2 billion dollars in an iron manufacturing facility in Underwood, North Dakota. Approved.
Washington
Energy infrastructure company investing 1 billion dollars to repurpose a former smelter site into a green hydrogen plant in Ferndale, Washington. Approvals pending.
