This growth highlights continued momentum across manufacturing, processing, distribution, and energy sectors. Largest Planned Project

In February, the research team identified 30 new industrial projects valued at 100 million dollars or more. The largest is led by Micron Technology Inc., which plans to invest 100 billion dollars to build a 7.2 million square foot manufacturing complex in Clay, New York. Construction will occur in phases with completion slated for 2030.

North Dakota
Mining company investing 2 billion dollars in an iron manufacturing facility in Underwood, North Dakota. Approved.

Washington
Energy infrastructure company investing 1 billion dollars to repurpose a former smelter site into a green hydrogen plant in Ferndale, Washington. Approvals pending.

Alberta
Petrochemical company planning 600 million dollars for a processing facility in Valleyview, Alberta. Construction expected in 2026.

New York
EV manufacturer investing 500 million dollars to expand its facility in Buffalo, New York. Approvals pending.

South Carolina
Battery manufacturer investing 500 million dollars for a 500,000 square foot facility in Greenville, South Carolina. Construction begins in 2025 with completion in 2027.

Florida
Clean hydrogen and solar company investing 450 million dollars for a hydrogen processing and solar panel manufacturing facility in Kissimmee, Florida. Construction begins Summer 2024 with completion in 2027.

Iowa
Renewable energy company investing 450 million dollars to build a wind farm in Henry County, Iowa. Approvals pending.
