    Largest Planned Project

    During the month of October, our research team identified 5 new Distribution and Supply Chain facility construction projects with an estimated value of $100 million or more.

    The largest project is owned by UPS, is planning to invest $220 million for the construction of a 262,000 sf air cargo distribution facility in Louisville, KY. Construction is expected to start in 2020, with completion slated for 2022.

    ARIZONA:

    Nutritional supplements mfr. is planning to invest $150 million for the renovation and equipment upgrades a recently acquired 397,000 sf warehouse and processing facility in PHOENIX, AZ.

     INDIANA:

    Foodservice distributor is planning to invest $150 million for the construction of a 500,000 sf distribution center in WESTFIELD, IN. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Construction is expected to start in Spring 2020, with completion slated for late 2021.

    ONTARIO:

    Petcare products mfr. is planning to invest $120 million for the construction of a 900,000 sf distribution center on Coleraine Dr. in CALEDON, ON. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    QUEBEC:

    Aircraft mfr. is planning to invest $135 million to establish an office, warehouse, manufacturing, and storage facility in BOISBRIAND, QC. They expect to be operational in Fall 2020.

    CONNECTICUT:

    Roofing products supplier is expanding and has recently agreed to lease a 57,000 sf warehouse and distribution facility at 29 Industrial Park Drive in EAST LYME, CT.

    GEORGIA:

    Floor covering and home furnishing wholesaler is planning to invest $39 million for equipment upgrades at their 650,000 sf distribution facility at Cass-White Road in CARTERSVILLE, GA. They have recently received approval for the project.

    ILLINOIS:

    Global online retailer is planning for the construction of a 1 million sf warehouse and distribution facility in CHANNAHON, IL. They have recently received approval for the project.

    KANSAS:

    Cold-storage service provider is planning to invest $35 million for the construction of a 148,000 sf warehouse and distribution facility at 2101 East Trail Street in DODGE CITY, KS. They have recently received approval for the project.

    NORTH CAROLINA:
