    SalesLeads announced today the November 2020 results for the new planned capital project spending report for the Food and Beverage industry. The Firm tracks North American planned industrial capital project activity; including facility expansions, new plant construction and significant equipment modernization projects. Research confirms 86 new projects in the Food and Beverage sector.

    Planned industrial project activity within the sector increased by 23% from the previous month, but is down 11% YTD from the previous year.

    The largest project is owned by Mark Anthony Brewing, who is planning to invest $400 million for the construction of a 1-million sf production and distribution facility in COLUMBIA, SC. Completion is slated for Summer 2021.

    Salad dressing and marinade mfr. is planning to invest $103 million for the construction of a 344,000 sf processing and distribution facility at 220 Midland Court in MCDONOUGH, GA. The project includes the renovation and equipment upgrades of their existing plant in MCDONOUGH, GA. Completion is slated for early 2022.

     

    ILLINOIS:

    Food processing company is planning to invest $35 million for the renovation and equipment upgrade at their 249,000 sf warehouse and processing facility at 2501 North Keeler Avenue in CHICAGO, IL. They have recently received approval for the project.

     

    NORTH CAROLINA:

    NEVADA:

    Seafood processor is planning for the construction of a 1.2 million sf processing and office facility in WINNEMUCCA, NV. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Construction is expected to start in Summer 2021, with completion slated for Summer 2024.

     

    PENNSYLVANIA:

    Fresh produce and specialty foods distributor is planning to invest $40 million for the construction of a 224,000 sf distribution facility at 7071 Milnor Street in PHILADELPHIA, PA. Completion is slated for late 2021.

     

    CONNECTICUT:

    Specialty food products mfr. is planning for the expansion of their processing and office facility in WEST HAVEN, CT by 100,000 sf. Construction is expected to start in 2021.

     

    FLORIDA:

    Specialty food products mfr. is planning for the construction of an 82,000 sf warehouse and processing facility at 12325 W. Sample Rd. in CORAL SPRINGS, FL. Construction is expected to start in early 2021.

     

    INDIANA:

    Bakery products mfr. is planning to invest $14 million for an expansion and equipment upgrades of their processing facility in MICHIGAN CITY, IN. They have recently received approval for the project.

     

    NEWFOUNDLAND:

    Seafood processor is planning for the construction of a 183,000 sf cold storage facility in CONCEPTION BAY SOUTH, NL. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

     

    TEXAS:

    Robotic greenhouse farming company is planning to invest $10 million for the construction of a 100,000 sf growing and processing facility on Blackjack St. in LOCKHART, TX. They have recently received approval for the project.
