    Largest Planned Industrial Construction Project 

    During the month of February, our research team identified 22 new General Industrial facility construction projects with an estimated value of $100 million or more. 

    The largest project is owned by Ciner Wyoming, LLC., who is planning to invest $426 million for an expansion of their processing facility in GREEN RIVER, WY. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Construction is expected to start in early Fall 2020. 

     

    Top 10 Tracked Industrial Construction Projects 

    VIRGINIA:

    Electric utility company is planning to invest $330 million for the construction of a 120MW solar processing farm in ARLINGTON COUNTY, VA. They have recently received approval for the project. Completion is slated for 2022.

     

    SOUTH CAROLINA:

    Steel company is planning to invest $300 million for an expansion and equipment upgrades on their manufacturing facility in HUGER, SC. They have recently received approval for the project.

     

    TENNESSEE:

    Global shipping company is expanding and planning to invest $217 million for the construction of a 268,000 sf warehouse and distribution facility at 3675 Swinnea Rd. in MEMPHIS, TN. They have recently received approval for the project. Completion is slated for early 2022.

     

    TEXAS:

    Global online retailer is planning to invest $221 million for the construction of a 3.4 million sf distribution facility at 10507 Harlem Rd. in RICHMOND, TX. Completion is slated for late Summer 2021.

     

    ALBERTA:

    Chemical company is planning to invest $200 million for an expansion and equipment upgrades of their processing facility in FORT SASKATCHEWAN, AB. Completion is slated for Summer 2021.

     

    NEW MEXICO:

    Electric utility service provider is planning to invest $200 million for the construction of a 200MW solar processing farm in PREWITT, NM.

     

    WASHINGTON:

    Aerospace technology company is planning to invest $145 million for the expansion of their manufacturing facility in SPOKANE, WA by 75,000 sf. Construction is expected to start in 2021.

     

    IOWA:

    Pet food mfr. is planning to invest $140 million for an expansion and equipment upgrades on their processing facility in CLINTON, IA. They have recently received approval for the project.

     

     

    INDIANA:

    Automobile mfr. is planning to invest $158 million for an expansion and equipment upgrades of their warehouse and manufacturing facility in LAFAYETTE, IN. Construction is expected to start in Summer 2020.

     

    NORTH CAROLINA:

    Biotechnology company is planning to invest $109 million for the renovation and equipment upgrades of a recently acquired processing facility in SANFORD, NC. They have recently received approval for the project.
