    During the month of February, our research team identified 4 new Distribution and Supply Chain facility construction projects with an estimated value of $100 million or more.

    The largest project is owned by Shintech, Inc., who is planning to invest $1.25 billion for the expansion of their processing facilities in IBERVILLE, LA and WEST BATON ROUGE, LA. The project also includes the expansion of their warehouse and processing facility in ADDIS, LA. Completion is slated for late 2023.

    Discount store chain is planning to invest $105 million for the construction of a 1 million sf distribution center in PLEASANT VIEW, IN. They are currently seeking approval for the project. Construction is expected to start in Spring 2021.

     

    Utah:

    Online car retailer is planning to invest $43 million for the construction of an inspection and reconditioning center at 299 Lodestone Way in TOOELE, UT. They have recently received approval for the project.

     

    Alabama:

    Construction company is planning to invest $40 million for an expansion of their warehouse and manufacturing facility in BESSEMER, AL. They have recently received approval for the project.

     

    South Carolina:

    Filtration and purification products mfr. is planning to invest $30 million for the renovation and equipment upgrades on a recently leased warehouse and manufacturing facility at 816 Berry Shoals Road in DUNCAN, SC. Completion is slated for early Summer 2021.

     

    Florida:

    Real estate service provider is planning for the construction of a 1 million sf distribution facility on West Atlantic Avenue in DELRAY BEACH, FL. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

     

    Arkansas:

    Specialty wood pellet mfr. is planning for the renovation and equipment upgrades on a 335,000 sf manufacturing and distribution facility in HOPE, AR. They have recently received approval for the project.

     

    Arizona:

    Online luxury goods retailer is planning for the renovation and equipment upgrades on a recently leased 600,000 sf distribution center in PHOENIX, AZ. Completion is slated for Fall 2021.
