    Largest Planned Project

    During the month of December, our research team identified 9 new Distribution and Supply Chain facility construction projects with an estimated value of $100 million or more.

    The largest project is owned by Redwood Materials, Inc., who is investing $3.5 billion for the construction of a manufacturing, recycling, warehouse, and office complex in CHARLESTON, SC. Construction will occur in phases and is expected to start in early 2023. 

    Top 10 Tracked Distribution and Supply Chain Project Opportunities

    Kentucky:

    Distillery is planning to invest $600 million for the expansion of their warehouse and barrel storage facilities in LONDON, KY and EAST BERNSTADT, KY. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    Massachusetts:

    Packaging products mfr. is planning to invest $475 million for the construction of a 2.3 million sf manufacturing and distribution facility in SUTTON, MA. They have recently received approval for the project.

    Kentucky:

    Distillery is planning to invest $250 million for the construction of a 75,000 sf production facility at 960 St. Rose Rd. in LEBANON, KY. The project includes the construction of an office and warehouse facilities at the site. They have recently received approval for the project. Completion is slated for 2025.

    Georgia:

    Personal care products mfr. is planning to invest $121 million for the renovation and equipment upgrades on a recently leased distribution space in SAVANNAH, GA. Completion is slated for Spring 2023.

    Florida:

    Cold-chain logistics company is planning to invest $115 million for a 170,000 sf expansion of their warehouse facility at 11180 Blasius Rd. in JACKSONVILLE, FL. They are currently seeking approval for the project.

    South Carolina:

    Restaurant chain is planning to invest $80 million for the construction of a distribution center in WEST COLUMBIA, SC. They have recently received approval for the project. Completion is slated for 2024.

    New York:

    Logistics company is planning to invest $80 million for the construction of a 530,000 sf distribution center at 500 South Dr. in EAST FISHKILL, NY. They are currently seeking approval for the project. 

    Pennsylvania:

    Cold storage service provider is planning to invest $75 million for the construction of a 380,000 sf warehouse on Hykes Rd. in ANTRIM TOWNSHIP, PA. They have recently received approval for the project. Construction is expected to start in early Spring 2023 and will occur in two phases.

    Iowa:

    Cold storage service provider is planning to invest $70 million for the expansion and equipment upgrades on their currently under-construction distribution facility in COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA. They have recently received approval for the project. 

    North Carolina:

    Dairy product mfr. is planning to invest $42 million for the renovation and equipment upgrades on a 220,000 sf processing and warehouse facility in GRAHAM, NC. They have recently received approval for the project.
